Is it common to see a gestational sac and yolk sac via transvaginal ultrasound BUT no heart beat at 6 weeks 3 days?

I we for a transvaginal ultrasound yesterday and they couldn’t see a heart beat. I didn’t get to talk to the doctor and the tech didn’t say much. Is it normal to only see the gestational sac and yolk sac but nothing else?? I should be 6 weeks 3 days according to my numbers...

It does seem that it's fairly normal. And if no one gave you reason for alarm, I would be confident that it's normal!

Yes. I'm literally at the dr right now and just had my first scan. Tech told me it was too early to see a heart beat

I believe it is normal. Some women can hear it at 5 weeks, and some not even till 9. Baby is very small still!! As long as it looks good right now I think you are okay. 6 weeks is still pretty early for a ultrasound.

I had a heartbeat when baby was 5+6. But do you know for sure that the baby is measuring at 6 weeks or is that just based on your period?
