Remedies for diaper rash?

My 7 month old has her first diaper rash and I’ve been using desetin and it hasn’t been working. I left her diaper-less for a little bit tonight but now it’s bed time so I obviously had to put a diaper on her. Is there something I’m not trying?

If you breastfeed, add a few ounces of milk into a bath or whip some coconut oil and breastmilk until it’s light and fluffy. Time to air out is good too. 
I make a diaper cream that is similar to wellness mama’s recipe and we have had almost no rashes. It’s a blend of Shea butter, coconut oil, calendula, chamomile, arrowroot powder( which is good for drying power like cornstarch)  and vitamin e oil. It sounds like a lot but it doesn’t take super long to make and it goes a long way.

We did oatmeal bath and breast milk baths. Both seemed to help.
 For the oatmeal bath u grind up the oatmeal so it's a fine powder and sprinkle it in the tub 
For the breast milk bath you add enough breastmilk to the tub so its cloudy. 
My daughter had horrible diaper rash while at daycare. She was getting a bath every night to help. Her teacher at daycare reccomend a diaper rash cream called triple paste. She hasn't had a problem since. We also switched her to a gentle version of formula since was pooping 6 times a day on the regular type.

Dr boudreaux diaper rash maximum is what I used with dd1 and have used with dd2 every now and then. I used more when both started solids due to that irritation.

I tried 3 different kinds for this baby when he had a bad diaper rash. Finally the only one that worked was Triple Paste. It cleared it up fast too!
