Best gas relief ? Best antacid?

Question

My son has built up gas, I’ve tried the little remedies. And antacid? My son keeps spitting up his formula and it shoots out his nose. He’s a month old.

Answer

For the gas you can try laying him on his tummy and reaching under him to rub downward (toward his bottom). You can also try laying him on his back and bicycling his legs and then gently pushing up on his feet so his legs bend at the knee and his thighs press against his tummy.
I’m not sure about the antacid thing... I don’t think there’s anything you could give him.

You can give him infant gas med. You can even put it in his bottle. If he's spitting up that much, he may actually have reflux. I'd take him to the Dr. He may need a particular kind of formula for reflux.
