Budget for Christmas ?

How much do you spend on Christmas gifts for family? Do you limit how many gifts each person or how much you spend per person? 
This isn’t for kids or spouse haha because I’ll spend too much on them regardless 😂

i only get presents for family, bffs, and my bf. i don't have a limit. if i find the perfect gift for them then 🤷🏻‍♀️ i never tell them how much i spent though in case it makes anyone uncomfortable. i only get 1-2 gifts per person though

Me and my fiancé spend a lot at Christmas. We buy my parents and his parents one big thing they want but they won’t buy themselves. We’ve spent 500$ on them alone before. Then we get both my brothers a gift usually around 75-100. Then my niece and nephew and his nieces and nephew we buy them something they want usually 50- 100$.

I usually write down everyone's name on a list and throughout the year, I listen to them and write down good ideas I have for them. If they mention something they like or tell me they want something then I'll write it down. I usually only get each person one thing unless it's something small. I usually get my boyfriend multiple things though.

We only buy for our 8 year old daughter. She gets between 5-7 things.

Last year it took us 3 hours to open all the presents 😧 ! 
And the costs buying a present for each person became ridiculous. So every year now we do secret Santa and everyone gets 1 quality present. 
So instead of spending around 300$ for 15 people or so we spend around 150$ and get something really nice.

Kids get 1 gift, $20-$30 each. There are 10 kids total in our families. Adults get a card. My mom and his dad get a small gift
