Should I be using tampons?

So I use tampons to sleep an pads during the day but I feel when i do use a tampon i have really light vs when i use a pad more regularly is this normal?

You can use whatever you’re comfortable with, it’s completely safe to use tampons at night (as long as you’re able to change it within eight hours). It’s common to not bleed as much when you’re sleeping at night because you’re not up moving around.

I’ve used tampons exclusively since I started my period at 13. You can sleep in them just fine (just make sure to change it first thing when you wake up so it’s not in too long). I am 100% healthy and it has not negatively impacted me in anyway
