Is implantation bleeding really a thing? I feel like everyone on here asks about it. I know you can get implantation cramping but I always see people ask about implantation bleeding.

It's incredibly rare and women who are so anxiously TTC just look for anything to tell them they are pregnant before they miss their period.

Yes, it's really a thing. I have had it for 2 of my 3 pregnancies.

I’ve had it once out of three pregnancies.  I think on here many post thinking/hoping it’s implantation bleeding when it’s either the start of period or pre-period spotting.  It’s not common at all.

It's a real thing but its also a rare thing and something that can only be confirmed retroactively. Meaning not until you are confirmed pregnant can you call spotting you have before your period was due implantation bleeding. In reality, it's normal to spot before your period and not be pregnant. You can also spot before you're due and be pregnant. So it really doesnt mean much.
