Do I actually need to test for ovulation? My husband and I usually “ttc” every other day all month long. Should I test for ovulation or keep doing what I’m doing?

If you've been trying for 12+ months, then yes, I would be tracking and testing for ovulation. You may not ovulate when you think you do, or you may not ovulate at all. However given the regularity you are having sex, then I would speak to your Dr to get some investigative testing done for ovulation (via blood tests) and even get your partner to have a sperm analysis to rule out any issues there.

I would. It’s not just to make sure you’re doing it at the right time, it’s to make sure you’re actually ovulating, and on a normal schedule.

If you do every other day- or even 2 days-all month then you should be ok. End of one period til next is due.
I did that the first month I tried and it worked.

It’s up to you. It helped me because my so doesn’t have a high enough sex drive to have sex that often and I ovulate earlier than predicted.
