Fluid in babies kidney?

I’m 38 weeks and my last Week ultrasound showed mild fluid in babies kidney , anyone else experience this? I don’t see my doctor until Thursday so I’m thinking the worst.

They found that in my sons kidneys this pregnancy. I think I was 31 weeks? I had an ultrasound at 35 weeks and it resolved itself. They told me its more common in boys but girls can have it to. Usually resolves on its on but the way it was explained to me the procedure to fix it is very simple and non invasive. Best of luck !!

They spotted this on my 20week ultrasound for one of the kidneys (which is better then both having this issue) I’m told 99%of the time it goes away in its own before or shortly after birth. I had a scan at 28weeks to check the kidneys again. It had not gone away yet but it had not gotten worse either and the dr said that’s all that really matters.

I had this as well at my 28wk check up. Specialist dr told me that this occurs in boy babies and is very common. He told me not to worry bcuz it goes away after. Chances of it staying is very small. Once I went to my 32 week check up, the fluid was completely gone. Don't worry momma, it'll all be good.
