Test positive for strep b & if so what does this mean? How did I even get this? Doctor wasn’t concerned at all & didn’t even mention anything about it ..

Me and this my second pregnancy  its not a big deal alot of women do have it they just treat you with antibiotics during labor and thats it

Super common, some pregnancies you can have it then the next you might not. As long as the hospital knows you are positive during delivery you are good. They will give you antibiotics during delivery to make sure baby doesn’t get infected during delivery.

I had it with both my first and this pregnancy! Its very common actually! It’s just a bacteria that lives in the vagina, nothing you “caught”. You’ll get antibiotics through an iv during labor!

I tested positive for it with my first, just a simple antibiotic. Shortly after I was given the antibiotic we had to do an emergency csection. So it was a waste, haha.
