When are you telling your other child(ren)

I have a 5yo son from a previous marriage, and now I’m 6w4d with my current spouse. He is essentially the only stable father figure my son has, so there’s a solid relationship. I just don’t know when we should tell my son? When did you tell your child about a second? Xo thanks in advance for any advice!

We are personally waiting till our ultrasound at 11 weeks and then telling everyone on thanksgiving, we’ve had multiple losses though and don’t feel like explaining that to the kids

I’m 6w5d and my 3 year okd just looked at me and sai, there is a baby sister in your belly, her name is Izabella. 🙈😍

I told my two year old at about 4 weeks. She’s way too young to understand.

We just told our three kids this weekend at 7 weeks. They’re 10,8,6. They were over the moon thrilled! We’ve been through two losses with them before so they know the risks but they’re my best friends and support system so they are so happy to just know.

I’m 6 weeks 5 days and we just told my 12 year old son this weekend. I wanted him to know why I was so tired and not feeling well 😊

I told my boys (11&4) after I told my husband. I wanted them to know before anyone else because they’re apart this journey as well.
