Baby moved from head down..?

Question

Is there a way of telling if your baby has moved from head down to breech? 
My baby has been head down since my 28 week appointment however this past week all movements have seems to be different. Movement is now much higher than before so now I’m worrying that she could have flipped.. 
Anyone ever experienced this? Would love some advice!
36 weeks so hopefully will know more at my appointment tomorrow but for the time being I’d love to hear your stories x

My little man had been head down for 3 weeks then this past week he turned butt down. They tried to turn him today which hurt like hell but was unsuccessful so we shall see.

My baby is head down (have weekly ultrasounds) and I habe WAY more movement up top. Guess her feet and butt are restless 😀

If you have a home Doppler you could check where the heartbeat is. A head down baby’s heart should be below your belly button. It’s not a 100% thing though. I’ve been worried about the same thing.

Mine was head down at 28 but they can continue to flip. He was breech at measurement ultrasound 35 and still at recheck at 36. We did ECV at 37+2 a week ago and put me in a belly binder to try and restrict him from flipping again. I go back this afternoon and am hoping he’s still head down.

The doctor can feel around your belly and tell what's where. She points out this is the butt, here's the feet, etc.

There are things that can indicate. For example, I always feel my baby's hiccups down in my butt and crotch lol. I can also feel his butt push out against my ribs all the time. But your doctor should feel at your next appointment and let you know

I just found out at my 36 week appointment that my baby was transverse. Although it was head down the last two appointments. So they are going to do an ultrasound at next weeks appointment
