Polyhydromnios help

I was diagnosed with polyhydrominos yesterday at 37 weeks (my belly was measuring 42 weeks so they finally did an ultrasound).

A little frustrated with my doctor’s office and I didn’t leave fully feeling like I understand the implications... (and that it took them this long to check with an ultrasound when I’ve been measuring ahead). So I’m just wondering if you guys have an experience with this condition. I saw it only happens in 1-2% of pregnancies and he couldn’t really tell me why.

All he really said was that babe looks ok and he’ll probably induce me at 39 weeks so she doesn’t get too big and is worried cause she still has room to move around.

I’m so big and uncomfortable and worried about baby I just need advice from people who know more! Is there anything I can do to limit or help the situation?
