I've heard after a year of ttcing and no pregnancy you should see a doctor to see what's going on. Is that still true when you are breastfeeding? Next month will be a year of ttc we started trying 6 weeks after I had my son.

It’s a different situation when you’re nursing still. Nursing can delay your ovulation.

I voted for pool, but in your case my answer would be “no”. definitely would not count the time you breast fed exclusively and only count the months, when you have your period back and was somewhat regular. Do you know, if you ovulate? How much do you still breasfeed?

Ok I hadn’t read the rest yet. Have you been tracking your ovulation? I did not have a cycle until my son was 21m still breastfeeding. If you started trying when your son was 6 weeks it’s very possible you haven’t had any/many cycles?
