Cycle update 1st ivf - menopur + citrotide

Hi ladies,

Today was a big day! Baseline scan done and it all looks fine to proceed. Even further my amh is a bit higher than my last reading! It is now 0.86 instead of 0.12... (still very low!!)

Could be any reason, but I do think that the vit D3, CoQ10 and melatonin helped to some extent.

Collected my drugs and tonight was my first injection....

Did it hurt?

No! The needle is very thin. Barely visible!

The preparation and mixing was the daunting part... my hands were shaking.

What’s the plan?

I guess with this protocol it may only take 10 days of stims before otrivelle is taken...

From Sunday I am taking citrodine too... so two injections.

Scans are Monday Wednesday and Friday next week ... the dose may be adjusted.

I feel like I finally drew the line on just hoping and turned into doing. It was a big step for me and I feel almost relieved that I am trying the ivf and even if it doesn’t work I have plan B and plan C and I know I won’t regret in the future for not giving this a go!
