Can we name our baby this? Sorry long one!

Ok I’m going to change the names to just be generic letters so people aren’t swayed by the names themselves ha ha.

So first pregnancy we decided on a boys name I’ll call A. Then at 20 weeks we found punt baby number one was a girl. We struggled for a girls name for ages. Then we started watching a tv series and heard the girls name I’ll call B. We instantly liked the name B and decided to call our girl that. We didn’t name her after the tv character we just heard the name there is that makes sense. Now here is the odd twist, in the TV show character B has a big brother called A!! At the time we picked B we agreed A would be off the table as it would be too cheesy to have a brother and sister from a tv show in real life.

3 years on we have just found out baby number two is a boy!! We are super excited but my husband and I have such different taste in boys names it’s proving to be really difficult coming up with a name! Any we can agree on liking we think are just ok but we don’t love.

Last night my husband mentioned the name A again which we both still love. I’m undecided if it’s a problem that there is a brother and sister from a tv show with the names? My daughters name was fairly unusual when we picked it (becoming more popular now) so anyone who knows the show will know straight away we got her name from there and will know the boys name it’s he is the main character of the show.
