Diagnosed w adhd as an adult??

Has anyone found out they have adhd as an adult?? What were your symptoms that led you to find out? Do you take medication? If so has it helped?

I’m an adult who has ADHD, but was diagnosed with it as a kid. I know that people can have adult ADHD but I think ADHD is pretty much the same amongst both ages. Anyways, I’ve been taking medication for it since I was diagnosed and it really does HELP!! I know a lot of people of afraid of taking medication for it, but trust me it just helps you stay focused and on task. If anything you can always lower the dosage or make it higher. If anything the medication will help treat it overtime. It literally gives the same effect as coffee (motivation wise) it just last longer. Having ADHD isn’t a curse or something to be ashamed of. Also don’t be afraid to take medication, a lot of people don’t and think other ways will help, but they ultimately end up taking meds :)
