Nexaplanon

So I figured I could start this tab for people thinking about getting the implant. I know i was super worried so i think this will be helpful. Please comment tips and experiences when it comes to the implant.

Backstory: I’m 16 and sexually active. I forget stuff easily so the pill was a bad option for me. I decided on Nexaplanon.

Update 1: I got the implant today. Insertion hurts like a bitch cause they inject lidocaine. It hurts for about 20 seconds and then you are all good. Your arm will feel super weird but it’s all good.

Update 2: My arm doesn’t hurt at all anymore, but it is super weird feeling the bar.

Update 3: It’s almost February. I’ve had a 14 day period as well as almost a month and a half of spotting, but mentally I feel great.
