Can you be a few hours late on the combo pill?

I’ve never missed a pill before but I have an upcoming surgery so I won’t be able to take my pill before time. I won’t be able to take it until 6-8 hours later. Honestly it’s not that big of a deal since I’m having a salpingectomy and my tubes will be removed within 3-4 hours after I normally take the pill but i just don’t want it to cause an early ovulation but I think 3-4 hours is too short of a time for ovulation to happen anyway right?
