How many failed IUIs?

4th iui failed. Onto the 5th. Dr has always done things different each cycle which is comforting. But how many IUIs did you do before moving to IVF?

Since iui has the same chance of falling pregnant as natural conception, my hubby and I decided to skip iui and go straight to ivf after 7 medicated cycles.  My doctor supported our decision (she didn't push ivf on us, but rather discussed pros and cons of both with us before letting us make our decision).  I am so glad we skipped iui.  We are currently 18 weeks pregnant from our first ivf cycle, with 10 embabies on ice to grow our family.

Research shows after three the rates of success plummet, so it makes sense to move to Ivf.

I did 5- all of which failed. We asked to move to IVF which my dr supported. So we decided to break for 2 months then start IVF in January 2020.

I did 3 IUIs with one random TI cycle in between IUIs 2 and 3 (out of town) prior to moving on IVF.

We did one IUI in September and are starting our first IVF cycle this month.

I did 4 ( upto 9 IUIs are free where I live). I then moved on to IVF. I wanted to make sure I had some rounds of IUI left in case the IVF cycle got cancelled.
It didn't. Had a frozen transfer and am currently pregnant. My second beta is tomorrow, so still very early.
