Subchronic hemorrhage

So I have a 7cm subchronic hemorrhage doc says not much we can do just wait and watch I asked if I have any restrictions and she said none at all so I emphasized the sex question because I had been so terrified my fiancé and I hadn’t had sex in 3 weeks. She actually suggested we have sex she said I’m def gonna bleed but she also said it may help get the subchronic hemorrhage to drain because the uterus contracts after sex. Has anyone else heard this? I always heard everyone gets put on pelvic rest
