Blighted Ovum

Seen a doctor today due to some spotting and swelling. Recently found out I was pregnant. No idea of my last period so couldnt say how far along I am.

Doctor ordered an ultrasound and I am measuring 5 weeks 3 days.

But could not see an embryo or yolk sac. He told me this could be normal or it could be a Blighted Ovum. Basically just a sac that will never form a baby.

I have to go back in 5 days to see but now I dont know what to expect.

Doctor said my hcg levels are at 4000 something and that its higher than normal. So he suspects a miscarriage.

If you have experienced this please tell me your outcome😭😭

I also have a tilted uterus so an embryo could be harder to see at this stage.
