4 weeks 1 day today. Can water still dilute a urine prefnancy test?

I have been testing daily to watch my lines darken and they have (I know I shouldn't but I have had previous losses and it eases my mind) anyhow I tested last night and the test had darkened but today when I took it after drinking water it was lighter but my period was due 2 days ago so im already past due so would the line still become faint from diluted urine? My urine was straw/clear. I know I am probably overthinking. My hcg level was 265 yesterday at 4 weeks but I have had some brown and pink spotting on and off for 3 days. I am testing with a dollar store test. No negativity please...just a worried expecting momma! ❤
