I need advice, should we move to ivf?

Ladies. I need all the advice I can get. We were diagnosed with low AMH at 1.3. I’m only 27. I just got it retested after two months and it is 1.19. I know it’s not a significant drop, but I am devastated. 
We just started our first round of letrozole. We had planned to only do 2-3 rounds depending on how my body reacted. But now I feel as though we should move to IVF. 
Please. I need advice, comments, thoughts, anything. I just need help. 
I am so sad. I did not know it would drop that much. I knew something was telling me it isn’t okay, but I just am heart broken. We thought we had more time.

I was diagnosed in July with DOR with an AMH of .56
I got tested two weeks later and my AMH was .27 . I have no children, am 33, and am getting married in a few months. I immediately began the process of learning everything I could about IVF and researching fertility clinics. At the time my insurance covered nothing for IVF, and with a low AMH you will get more and higher doses of meds, hence they will be more expensive. After research and a referral from my counselor who had several patients who had/were receiving IVF I went to CNY fertility in NY. I live in DC so this was no where near me. However, they have much lower rates per IVF cycle, and with a low AMH (don’t know what your follicle count was, mine was 3 on one side 2 on the other) they would need to do multiple rounds to get enough eggs to create a number of embryos. 
The thing about AMH is that it DOES fluctuate, by about .3, so for me .56 my first AMH number ended up being my highest, high point of the curve. So what you are seeing is most likely just that normal small fluctuation so don’t panic too much over that. 
Also at above 1 while you are still love for your age you aren’t in critically low range yet so don’t panic. 
There is an amazing podcast called “As a woman” by an RE. She does an entire episode on Diminished Ovarian Reserve - listen to it. 
Anyways my fiancé and I got married in September so I could go on his insurance because they covered a large amount of IVF. We told no one because our wedding is not until February.
My doctor at CNY started me on a prep cycle September 27. He started me on about 5 different over the counter supplements and HGH (human growth hormone) injections once a day. The idea being that since I would have less eggs able to be retrieved to make them as high a quality as possible, basically help them grow as strong as they can. 
I was supposed to start my first round of stem meds October 23rd when my period started again for a retrieval the beginning of November. 
On October 19th I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. Now it is very early on (5 weeks and 4 days) but I’m currently pregnant and so far everything is looking good - fingers crossed and bathing in sticky baby dust everyday! 
I’m sharing this because my first RE told me I had a 5% chance of ever getting pregnant with IVF. 
A low AMH means you have less time, but it does NOT mean the eggs you do have are bad or that you can’t get pregnant. No one can tell you the quality of your eggs until they remove them. If you want lost of kids, harvest embryos now. If not I would start looking into IVF simply because the one thing you don’t know is the slope of your decline - how fast you are loosing them / how much longer you will have them. IVF is the fastest way to get pregnant and hoped store some embryos along the way. 
While I don’t know how this pregnancy will end I am cautiously optimistic and will be sending lots of good thoughts and baby dust your way!

Can you afford Ivf? If so, I would do it. This way, you can also bank embryos for future children if your amh keeps dropping. If you can’t, then your amh is definitely still high enough for you to have some time. Wishing you the best of luck!

I heard about something called Invocell which is supposed to be cheaper than IVF for those without fertility coverage. Maybe look into that?

I would factor in other blood-work and diagnostic test results. My AMH is also low at 1.2. I went to IVF due to other factors such as high FSH and one blocked tube. It just made sense in my situation to not waste time on IUIs. If all your other testing came back normal, I would try 2-3 IUIs first then move forward with IVF.
