Father of my children cheated: UPDATE

In a relationship for 4 years, friends for much longer. We have two beautiful daughters. I love him with my whole heart. Found out a little over a week ago he has been cheating physically on and off for a year, and texting girls much longer than that.

Everyone on this app always says to dump him and leave. And I did leave. But my heart has never hurt this much in my life. I believed this man was my soul mate. How do I make it stop hurting and move on?

Update: Y'all were damn right. I have a lot to figure out moving forward, but I am so. Much. Better. Off. Without him! I can make plans, have fun, and finally be myself again!! I haven't been anything aside from a mom robot and glorified baby sitter for 3 YEARS! I'll always be the best mom I can be, but I'm determined to never erase myself for anybody ever again.
