Infant ear infection remedies?

My 2 month old developed an ear infection after getting over a cold. Does anyone know what kind of treatment I could do at home until we see the doc next week?

My baby has been miserable since Sunday. I took her to the doctor today and it was an ear infection and they gave her amoxicillin. Please don't make your baby wait. Im sure (s)he's uncomfortable.

Hey everyone just letting everybody know the doc said her ear is fine and normal. It’ll go away soon. They said she’s fine and healthy but I know her ear is bothering her so I will treat her ear with a warm washcloth and hopefully it’ll get better soon. Thanks again for all you guys help

Soak a rag in warm water and put the rag over the ear. The warmth should ease the pain .
