Keeping positive

Anyone have any techniques (that work) to help u be positive....I've been depressed for years I go from moderate to severe constantly..right now I just started a new job so I'm on the upside but I find myself closer to the evening allowing myself to stress and worry and get extremely negative. I HAVE TO KEEP this job my mental state has caused me my lively hood many times I cant allow it anymore( 2 toddlers ). I try to close my eyes and just repeat "stay positive " but it's not working. I need to concentrate at my job plz help thanks.
