Does coughing sound irritate you?

This guy always cough during the exam. I mean he coughs literally every 10-15’. I usually dont get distracted so easily but coughing and chewing sound does irriate me ( you know some ppl dont ficking close their mouth when they eat) !!! I dont think he ever shows up to the regular class meetings, but only comes for the exam. Last exam, i was like oh okay he prob was sick so i was okay. But today, he dang coughed again during the entire exam for 2 hours. How could he leave his sickness untreated for the pass 2 months? Should he at least cover or do something to make the noise less? My final exam is coming in 1 month and i think he will be there coughing for the entire time again!! What should i do?

I have a lung issue that causes me to cough in stressful situations. I literally have a chronic cough that flares up when I'm anxious...Dont judge. Maybe he cant help it.

Jesus when I was in high school there was this guy In my government class that would cough and clear his throat THE WHOLE HOUR. It was always the same exact cough too. It sounds like a recording. “Cough , cough, clears throat” 
I wanted to strangle him. Sure nice guy though.

If he doesn’t usually show up to most classes and coughs a lot, I would say there’s a huge possibility that he could have a health issue causing it , as another commenter says

No advice just wanted to say I can't stand the sound of people repeatedly coughing too lol. My mom was visiting for two weeks and had a dry cough the whole time and it drove me insane. I have sound sensitivities so some things really get under my skin. Coughing being one of them lol.

When I was in basic training we all got sick (which is normal since it’s a ton of people from across the country sleeping 2 feet from each other) there was a girl that would cough all night and keep all 30 of us up that was shoved into a small room. Every one of us hated her because of how freaking loud she was all night. We knew it wasn’t her fault but we still all wanted to kill her. We went weeks without actual sleep because of her. To this day I still HATE when someone can’t stop coughing.
