⁉️IUD SIDE EFFECTS⁉️

So I had the copper IUD implanted back in 2011. I had a normal period for 3 years. Around year 4 I started having irregular periods and by year 5 it would only come once or twice a year. I haven’t had a regular period since then, maybe two or three the most for the last 3 years. Mind you I asked my doctor if it was normal and she said yes. So because I wasn’t TTC I was okay with it. I recently removed my IUD on September 2018 and up until today I haven’t gotten a period.

I just got my blood work done and everything came back normal. I have an upcoming appointment and until then I have to wait for the doctor (different doctor) to let me know my options for TTC.

Is it normal?
