First period?!

My son is 10 1/2 weeks. I just got my first period and I’ve seriously never bled like this before. It’s soooo much that it’s ridiculous! I can feel periodic gushes when I’m walking. No large clots though and I’m not necessarily filling big pads within an hour so I’m not too concerned at the moment but I’m just wondering if anyone else has experienced this so far? I hope they aren’t all like this! I feel like I need a diaper!!

Yes my first period was super heavy. I’m assuming it’s because our uteruses are still much larger than they normally would be. I started birth control after that and since then my periods are way more chill thank god.

My first two periods were sooooo heavy...just got it a third time (13wpp) today and hoping itll be better...

Mine haven’t started yet and I have been on birth control for 1 month now. I’ve heard that it’s common when they do come back that they are very heavy!!

I’ve had 2 periods since having my baby and omg they are horrible. So heavy and I also feel it gushing out all the time. I can be laying, sitting or standing and I just feel it come out. I hope it’s gets less heavy but idk so far 2 have been bad.

Yes! Mine was so heavy, and I never had super heavy ones before. My next one should be next week, and I’m really hoping it’s much more normal.
