Money trouble? Or just not hungry?
I'm not really sure where to post this, but I need some advice. To keep it short, I think a girl I work with has been having some money trouble recently. Her power was shut off at her apartment today because they didn't pay the bill, and I think she hasn't been eating much over the last couple weeks. One of our other coworkers brought her lunch yesterday and the day before and she scarfed it down so fast it seemed she hadn't eaten in a while. I brought her a chicken salad sandwich today because I had left overs that me and my husband made. She only ate half of it and then I saw her sneaking the other half home after work like she was going to have to eat it for dinner tonight. I'm not sure if she just wasn't hungry and couldn't finish at all or if she's having money problems and couldn't afford to eat again later today. She is 22 and has a 4 year old daughter, so I also wondered if she was taking the other half to feed her daughter for dinner. I don't know if I'm overthinking or not, we aren't super close, just like friendly coworker level, so I'm not sure if I should say anything. I want to offer to buy her some groceries this weekend but I don't want to make her uncomfortable. What would you do? Should I even bring it up or just leave it alone? I just don't want her daughter going hungry more than anything...
