Mamas of rainbow babies... how soon after loss did you conceive ?

Hello lovelies. I recently experienced and lost my first pregnancy, ending in a D&C on this past Friday.. almost a week now. It took 3 months of trying and one cycle of really trying with OPKs and all for me to conceive, and I already know that last stage I had of trying HARD and obsessing is going to be on repeat every month until I get pregnant again. I was 8 weeks when my bean stopped growing and 10 weeks when I found out there was no heartbeat on the big baby on that ultrasound... I saw the little facial features and all.. let me stop before I get emotional....

Basically what I want to hear from others is when they conceived and had that rainbow baby after going through this. (Very sorry for your loss by the way... I know how it feels now and wish we as women didn’t ever have to go through this..)

My surgeon/obgyn told me to wait until I had a period solely based on being able to know how far along the pregnancy is.
