Placenta Accreta ???

Question

I was wondering if any other c section mamas know the answer to this question. 
Do doctors always monitor for placenta  accreta in your next pregnancies? 
I had a c section with my first, and at my 20 week ultrasound yesterday, he told me that he is going to monitor my placenta to make sure it’s not attaching to the scar tissue around my c section scar. 
Placenta accreta is pretty serious... he told me not to worry about it but seems like something to worry about!

I had a c section last time and have an anterior placenta. I'm terrified of accreta. All they told me after my scan was that there is no evidence my scar is interfering with my placenta (and I have a good  chance of a vbac if I want that). I'm going to ask follow up questions at my appointment on Monday

Ive had 4 c sections and doc never mentioned this before and gonna have 5th in feb and only thing we watching is one of my twins placenta because of  where the umbilical cord is

This is my #1 fear (for myself) during this pregnancy... I had a c-section with my first, planning on c-section this time too. 
At my 20 week ultrasound I was told I have an anterior placenta and placental lakes measuring at 3mm+... two risk factors for placenta accreta. 
I have another growth scan at 24 weeks and I plan on asking a TON of questions about it. The consequences are just so scary, especially since my husband wants two more babies after this one.

I beleive they do if it is close to your c section scar. My placenta is no where near my scar and my doctor did comment a few times now that it's great and we dont need to worry. Mine is on my upper stomach 😁 I beleive it's also a concern if you need another c section (if it would be in the way)

I had a c-section with my son and today during my anatomy scan the dr. Checked to make sure the placenta didn't attach at the scar. It wasn't so the Dr. Was happy and said we dont have anything to worry about today.
