What do you do so your bits aren't on fire I'm from the UK and there is this spray/mist called spritz your bits that's made by midwifes that's meant to be good but I don't want to spray that down there incase I makes the fire worse 🤣 do I just where maternity pads and that's it?

Get a peri bottle for the bathroom it will help keep you clean and helps if you use it while you pee. Pinterest has lots of ideas to make padcicles that you put in the freezer. For me my tailbone hurt more than anything and I wish I had one of those round doughnut pillows.

I used a similar spray from boots that was in a blue bottle. I thought it was good and I also used maternity pads. I tore my pee hole, clitoris and 2nd degree tear and I feel that spray helped my stitches heal well and reduced the swelling... Oh the swelling! How no one warned me about that! 😫 
The spray contains arnica which is good for bruising. 
I didn’t use a peri bottle or anything and my wee’s and poo’s didn’t hurt at all. I just avoided juices because they are acidic and I drank tons of water!

I used witch hazel pads (hemorrhoid pads) and lined my entire pad front to back.
I also got long ice packs (similar to.the photo) and I would lay naked with a towel on the bed and keep the ice pack on for about 15 minutes.

And then I also sprayed this everytime I changed my pad

I know it feels like it will never end! But I started feeling better about 2 weeks PP. Hang in there :)

I found sitz baths great. Just add witch hazel and epsom salt, it helps everything heal. There are sitz baths you can buy that just sit on your toilet seat. It was suggested to me by my midwife and I healed fast.

Do they supply ural (think that’s how it’s spelt) it’s a sachet you put in water, nutrialises the acid in the urine so it at least doesn’t make it sting down there when you pee

I was told NOTHING. Risks for infection are too high. Frequent showers and keep everything dry. Especially if you have stitches.
