How did shots go?

Shots today! How did it go for everyone, what was LO like after?

Mine was normal. She cried for about 5 seconds then was quiet.

She was fine.  Cried for a few seconds during and then it was like it didn’t happen. And the nurse was so fast with it I didn’t even get a chance to feel bad or cry. It wasn’t bad at all, I was worried for nothing. Hopefully it goes the same for you!

She was cranky when she got it done. Just gave her a bottle after and she slept a lot after shots.

My daughter was sick for 3 days after. Had a fever for 2 days, throwing up after every feed, crying a lot & didn’t eat as much. On the 4th day she was back to normal

She cried for like 5 minutes and then slept well the rest of the day and that night. She ate normally though and seemed fine!

My LO cried for about 10 seconds after then took a cat nap. When she woke up she was fine for about 2 hours then was fussy for the remainder of the night. She woke up completely normal. I did not give Tylenol, but I did wet warm baby wash clothes and kept them on each leg where she got her shots so it didn’t knot up. She also got a warm bath before bed.

Mine got a sick stomach from the oral vaccine, then she was very sleepy the rest of the day. She woke up from a nap several hours later and was inconsolable from the sore legs, I tried cool packs and it didnt help so I ended up giving her tylenol and she was fine once it kicked in. I recommend giving tylenol a few hours after, but not before, it can affect immune response if given before.

Was inconsolable until I nursed him right after the shots. Took a nap, then woke up and was crying while nursing, so I had to give them Tylenol and baby wear him so he fell back asleep.

Great! I gave her Tylenol since she was getting a fever.
