Caffeine???

How much coffee or caffeine do some of you consume while breastfeeding??? I have a fussy 1 month old and I drink about 3 cups of coffee per day and I wonder if it’s from that? I need my coffee 😭😭😭

I’ve been drinking one cup of tea every morning. I try to drink it right after I have pumped (I’m pumping not nursing). Caffeine is necessary to my survival at this point. 😂

My baby gets fussy too and I wonder if it’s the caffeine. But I have a two year old that also doesn’t sleep through the night so I drink about a half a pot of coffee a day. Like 2-3 cups. 🙃

I drink cold brew/iced coffee. Probably 8 to 12 Oz per day. He sleeps fine most of the time and his troubles with gas and being fussy come at night. My caffeine is consumed no later than noon.

I consume none because my baby is already full of enough energy and I want to get some sleep at night lol

I heard caffeine plays apart in the fussiness! I drink 1 cup every couple of days!

3 cups per day could cause fussiness. That might be it. I know 2 cup won’t make much of a difference, but more than that might.

It could be from that,  I try to drink it right after feeds so it has time to get out of your system before baby eats again

I usually only do 1 cup (8-12 oz mug) in the morning, it seems to help with the headaches I've been getting on the daily. You might check to see how many mg of caffeine are in each cup you drink. Looks like most sources say to stay under 300 mg of caffeine.
