What do Braxton Hicks feel like??

I’m a first time mom 16 weeks pregnant and have been feeling sharp pains on my left side when I’m literally just sitting still almost feels like tightening but my belly doesn’t get hard during them so idk. They only last a few seconds and just come randomly. Is that Braxton Hicks??

Im pregnant with my 5th baby and it could either be from your uterus stretching or it could be gas your body does a lot of strange things while pregnant. But if the pain becomes unbearable or something more happens call your doctor to get checked out. Never take anything lightly while pregnant. And congratulations xoxo

When I had Braxton Hicks with my first, I couldn’t even feel them. I’m not sure if most people feel them or not, but I only knew I was having them because my dr pointed out that my belly was super hard one time and that was a Braxton Hicks contraction. Didn’t start having them until probably at least 30 weeks, though they can happen earlier.

That would just be growing pains, I experienced the same and I've also experienced Braxton Hicks. BH there's no pain, belly goes tight and I always felt winded. With my first child though I didn't even feel them, just my second.

Braxton Hicks also happen later in pregnancy. The ladies that commented have the right suggestions. It doesn't hurt to call or ask your doc if the pain is too bad.
