How long is IVF process?

My 5th IUI failed and so we are planning on starting IVF next year. How long is the process from when you start injections to implantation day? A month? 2 months?

I started injections 2-3 weeks ago, had my retrieval last Thursday, and transfer today. It depends on your protocol and if you do a fresh or frozen transfer. Good luck!

Stimmed and did Egg retrieval mid July. PGS tested with results coming back by mid August. Doctor discovered fibroid during a hysteroscopy in August. We had fibroid removal in early September. Rebuild lining medication cycle from after fibroid removal until early October. October 18th we had another hysteroscopy for a last check to see if fibroid was gone and no scarring. Cleared for FET in December.

For me it was about 6 months. My doctor only does frozen transfers, so it was already going to be a minimum of 3 months. I also had complications and scheduling conflicts that pushed my transfer date back by about 3 months.

Mine seems long. I had my consult in September (required by my insurance). Did testing the next cycle to determine why we couldn’t get pregnant. The cycle after , they had me start Luperon after i ovulated (injection once a day). Now I’m waiting for my next period to start to begin the rest of the meds. My retrieval and transfer should fall the week of thanksgiving.

I stimmed for 10 days, did the ER, had a fresh transfer 5 days after, and had beta two weeks after that. It went by quick as there’s a lot going on. So about a month

It just depends on what you decide to do. For example, I did not PGS test and had a fresh transfer. I stimmed for 14 days and had a transfer 5 days after retrevial. All in all, about a month for stim day 1 to transfer day. 
My FET cycle is 8 weeks, +/- a week or so. 
Could be 2 months if you PGS test, or have to do a freeze all for some reason.

Normally should only be about 2-3 months with my clinics protocol, but depends on if you’re doing any genetic or chromosome testing, which you would have to freeze and embryos right away and send for testing.
That’s also assuming that everything goes exactly to the plan, which it oftentimes does not. I started the process in March and am still going through it.

Quick, in my opinion. You start BC for about 10 days until your period comes. Then, stims for approx 10 days then egg retrieval two days later. Embryo transfer is 5 days later unless you’re doing a frozen transfer.
I would say about a month from start to finish. After all initial blood work and diagnostic testing of course.
