Unemployment...

I know unemployment is probably much different in each state but I was wondering if anyone had any insight. I’m pregnant and was let go from my job. I live in the state of Iowa. I filed for unemployment and received a letter in the mail with a weekly payment amount but no information on a hearing with the job that terminated me or anything and that’s what I was expecting.

Does this mean I was approved? I know sometimes employers won’t fight against the unemployment and I’m wondering if that’s what happened since I received information on what I’d be paid weekly.

Or is this just standard and I should still be expecting info on a hearing?? Does anyone have any knowledge on this that’s dealt with it before?
