But........A BFN this month. It has been 50+ cycles of trying. This month I had an HSG, which came back normal. A normal ultrasound. Blood tests confirming ovulation and normal hormones levels. BD at all the right times. Pre seed. Vitamins. And still, after so long, nothing.....It’s really hard to keep trying.

I’m sorry to hear that you are dealing with this situation. I’ve tried clomid before years ago with metformin but I quit because I was getting frustrated. I’ve still haven’t been pregnant yet and my husband and I have been together for 12 years with no pregnancies. He has a daughter from a previous relationship and I’ve never been pregnant. I’m currently on clomid again and have been for 3 months so far with no luck. I’ve been checked and no diagnosis of PCOS or anything else so far so I don’t understand. I want to get an HSG to see if that is the problem. I’m 34 now and I feel like if I don’t get a positive after I turn 36, I’m going to give up. I hate to do it but it’s mentally draining to deal with this when watching friends and family having babies every year. It hurts as a woman. Good luck to you guys.

Thanks so much for your kind words as well, no I haven’t thought about IUI or IVF because it is so expensive. I also feel that way a lot because as a woman I should be able to give my husband and myself a child and it hurts to see it be easy for so many but hard for me. I hope you get a BFP as well, you deserve it too. Good luck!!

Thank you for your kind words. I'm turning 34 in December, so we are in the small boat. I do recommend an HSG for piece of mind. The procedure itself was easy and it does increase fertility for some. Have you thought about IUI or IVF? I'm thinking about giving it a try? In any case, I feel you completely....cant help but think I'm failing as a women. But, you and I both know that is not true. I really hope you get a BFP soon, you deserve it! Take care of yourself!
