İs concealer necessary?

Whats job of foundation and concealer
Can anyone give me short summary i couldnt understand im new to makeup  can i just use foundation?

it's not necessary. it hides dark circles and small blemishes. it looks better than layering on foundation bc if you put on too much it looks super cakey. i don't really use it though bc it's quite thick

It’s necessary for me lol I’m no spring chicken and I got dark circles. When I was younger I did not need it, but after 2 babies and a few years of adulting under my belt I definitely can’t go without it, I’ll go without foundation before concealer.

Concealer-to add extra coverage or you can use to cover small blemishes or use to brighten up areas of the face but is not necessary.

It has more pigment in it so it's good for small areas that need more coverage. It covers more without getting cakey and gross. So I use it on like acne or dark circles or pigmented scars that kind of thing. If I have good skin and have had plenty of sleep ie I'm on summer break or something then I dont use it and foundation works just fine. BUT when I'm working and doing school and all that jazz... yeah concealer is a must...

Not necessary. I like it because I have bags/circles so it hides the discoloration better than my foundation does.

I have dark circles under my eyes partly from allergies so I love my concealer for that! I also use it if I have a pimple or excess redness. The foundation just goes right on top! Although I use powder and don’t put that near my eyes.
