Thinking about age demographics

Erin

I was thinking about how different areas get married, buy a house, have children, etc. at much different ages. I know a lot of it has to do with social pressure and finances, but I was wondering if it might also have to do with life expectancy.

I saw a post where a poor girls father passed away at 50 and she said he maybe had 20 years left. 70 is so young to me! Everyone in my family lives into their mid 90’s. My Mom is 72 and goes to the gym every day, has parties all the time, goes to Europe for a month almost every year with her boyfriend. To think of her as being at the end is just odd.

So, Do you think life expectancy in areas directly effects age of milestones?
