Bittersweet day for me. I officially quit my job of ten years. That was not planned. I assumed I would have baby in October, hed be perfectly healthy, l would go back to work at 6 weeks and he would go to daycare, the same one my daughters went to. Well...he showed up 7 weeks early and has some ongoing health issues. He has 2-3 appointments each week right now. He needs a bit of extra care and SO and I don’t really trust others to give him the care he needs. So I quit today. It was a really hard step for me but we feel like it’s the best thing for our son.

Did anyone else quit after having planned to go back?
