Went in on Tuesday 11/12 for a scheduled c-section

Went in on Tuesday 11/12 for a scheduled c-section. I was very nervous as this was my second cesarean. I had an unplanned one with my son 3 years ago and had several complications including a longer hospital stay and other issues. However, this time around was very different. My husband and I went in, completed our paperwork and in less than 3 hours from our arrival my baby was born healthy and perfect. She was born at 39 +2 weeks old, weighed 8.4 oz and was 19 in long. The surgery went great there were no complications and my recovery has been fairly easy considering I just had major surgery. We went home after only 2 days which was perfect. We love our princess so much and can’t wait to watch her grow alongside her (very excited) big brother.
