How much baby food do you give your babies?

I give my son baby cereal(oatmeal) in the morning and 1 container of 1st baby food at dinner time. Should I be giving him more ?

None. She’s still not ready. I try every day but she takes maybe a spoonful and half of it is thrusted out and then she ends up crying and getting annoyed.

My son is six months old and I give him some oatmeal mixed with a couple tablespoons of fruit for breakfast/lunch and his doctor said he can eat pureed meat now I usually give him an ounce of that and 2-3 oz of a veggie or a veggie/fruit combo for supper. It just all depends on his mood as well.

We are doing 4oz a day. Fruit purée for breakfast and veggie for lunch. She was never a fan of cereal.

We do 3-4 feedings a day with pureed or mashed food mixes with oatmeal. Honestly each meal is just a couple table spoons. 
EXAMPLE MEALS
Mashed uped 3 slices of banana and oatmeal with peanutbutter.
Couple of table spoons of pea puree with mashed up two cubes of butternut squash.
If it is store bough baby food we split up into 2-3 containers and put the unused untouched stuff in sealed containers in the fridge and it has to be used by the next day. We also warm or steam everything because it helps with his spitup so just for 10 seconds in the microwave. 
We try to make sure he isn't eating the same thing continually either so each meal is different combinations and textures. Our son has spitup issues so we have to feed him small portions more frequently and because he's in the 94th percentile for weight he needs to eat many times a day to maintain his weight.

I give my son a total of 6oz, depending on the day sometimes more or less. 2oz in the morning, 2oz in the afternoon and 2 oz in the evening. If it looks like he wants more I give him a little bit more .
