Outfit for Baby Shower

Okay ladies, I am trying to find a dress/outfit for my Baby Shower and I'm running out of time! The theme is black and red. Do you think this dress (not maternity) would be nice? I would wear combat boots with it. I have a quirky style but I'm not sure if this just borders on tacky? If it was any other occasion I would just go for it but I am so conscious of the fact I will be looking back at these pictures for years to come! Please help! Suggestions and alternative options welcome.
