Long story short my boyfriend and I both have one four year old boy each. Their birthdays are only two weeks apart. His son spends 50% of the time with him and the other half with his mom.

Problem I’m having is.. his son doesn’t listen to me. At all. And he tells my son what to do, is mean to him, and just overall throws jabs at him.

THEY ARE THE SAME AGE.

And by telling him what to do I mean he’ll tell him “don’t touch this, don’t say this, put this down, etc” and we have been telling him over and over not to do it. We tell him that he isn’t a parent therefore he has no authority.

It’s starting to bug me and puts a damper on bonding with him.

Anyone know why he’s acting this way?
