Babies 5 years apart?

My daughter will be 5 in January. 
What was it like having kids 5 years apart?

Girl. Mine are 8 years apart and it’s great. My son likes to ‘help’ and he plays with her. Now she is almost 2 and they love hanging out. They snuggle, love on each other, and get mad at each other. Ha. I’m glad I had the gap.

My sister and I are 5 years apart and we’re the best of friends :) I was always very protective of her.

My boys are 5 days shy of being 6 years apart. But, it was awesome! My older son was already super independent, and he was super excited and wanting to help with the new baby. It was so awesome! They're 7 and 1 and best friends! My oldest will watch him so I can make dinner and stuff. He's the greatest little helper ☺️☺️

My first two are 4.5 years apart and my first and third will be 6.5 years apart. I think it’s amazing. My oldest is not only my child but she’s my little buddy. 
She took it pretty well when her first sibling came. She understood that if mommy did 1-2-3 for baby, then she’d have her turn to get mommy’s attention. 
She’s considerate and old enough to be helpful, although I don’t push the helpfulness. She still wants to be taken care of by me, but that’s her personality. I know lots of kids enjoy helping. 
Whatever the gap is, it has pros/cons.

I’m not sure on the parent aspect of having kids 5 years apart, but my sister is 7 years older than me and my brother is 5 years older than me and we are all super close. Especially as we’ve gotten into our adult years! They’re some of my best friends! Along with my other two brothers who are a year older and two years younger than me!
