Should I be concerned my baby hasn't pooped??

I have a 3 month old and he is strictly breastfed. He has gone a week without a bm but has been passing gas just fine. It doesn't seem to be bothering him that he hasn't pooped.when should I start to worry aboit this?

My baby had an 8 day stretch. When she finally went...whoa  😂 as long as she’s not straining or in pain and when it does come out it’s nice and soft. Breastmilk is a natural laxative so babies are rarely constipated. It’s also nutritionally perfect so there’s not a lot of waste. 👍🏻

As long as gas moved along it means it's all moving along... I think of it as there isn't as much waste to get rid of so it "waits" till there is enough.. however you MAY get a BLOW OUT! lol

Apparently it’s perfectly normal for breastfed babies to not poop that often as there’s actually very little waste in breast milk! Keep an eye out though and if you’re concerned speak to your doctor 😊

My pediatrician said after 7 days you may need to assist a bm if a baby hasn't had one! But going up to 7 days is normal.

I was told by a doctor it is normal for a breastfed baby to go up to two weeks with no poop. Unless baby seems uncomfortable about it.
