I locked both locks to the apartment. My boyfriend has told me not to lock both, but he told me he gets off at 10:45. It’s passed midnight and he hasn’t called or text. So you know what I’m going to lock both locks and go to sleep. If he wants to get in then he’ll have to call. Not sorry at all. I like communication especially since there has been a shooting in the area. I don’t feel comfortable having one lock locked especially while sleeping. So I’ve told him before I lock it after a certain time which he knows that.

Yes we live together and he has a key. I don’t feel comfortable leaving just one locked. I sleep better when both are locked. It’s mainly for my peace of mind.
