When to go to doctor?

My son has had a cold for about 2 1/2 weeks now and it’s not getting better. He’s super congested and has a cough. He had an appointment last week and the doctor said it was just a cold but I feel like a cold would be better by now. It’s so bad it keeps him up most of the night. At what point do I take him back to the doctor?

We had the same issue and after 10 days we went to the dr. The dr said it could last 3 to 4 weeks..it lasted 3. Humidifier and zarbees chest rub stuff helped a ton.

My baby had a bad cold as well, I went to CVS and got her the brand called Zarbees and it worked so well it’s all natural products in it and cleared everything up. I also go the nosefrida to clean her nose out it worked so good try those products

My boy had a cold for a good 4 1/2 weeks. It finally started getting better. He still has a wet cough but not as bad. Just make sure that there is no fever. We have been going to doctors multiple times to make sure that there is nothing else wrong.

My daughter was the same way we took her to doc on a Monday doc said everything was fine just a cold by Friday she was crying hysterically and running a fever took her back in and she had developed a ear infection due to all the drainage
